IPL Delhi lost their fourth match against the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2009.This is the first loss for this team.The first batted IPL Delhi opened their innings with a six with the help of skipper Virender Sehwag but it didn’t go a long way since they lost quick wickets of Virender Sehwag,Goutham Ghambir,Tilakarathne Dilshan and the wicket keeper of the IPL Delhi Dinesh Karthik.Only the South African player A B de villiers played a sensible cricket for the team who scored a precise half century in 40 balls which consisits of 5 fours and 1 six.IPL Delhi were only able to take 143 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.

IPL Delhi also had a very good start in the field in which they took the quick wickets of quiney and Asnodkar.But the five-down batsman Yusuf Pathan had completely took the game in favour of IPL Rajasthan in which he played his usual attacking shots against the IPL Delhi bowlers.He took 62* runs from just 30 balls which consists of 6 sixes and 3 fours.Graeme Smith was there on the middle throughout the innings of IPL Rajasthan who took 44* runs from 46 deliveries which include 5 fours.Pathan and Smith eventually led IPL Rajasthan to victory with 9 more balls to spare.
