In cricket as a bowler is concerned there is not only one method to improve the bowling. It differs from each bowler in action, delivery style etc.The now highest wicket taker Muralitharan of Sri Lanka has got the Unorthodox kind of wrist bowling in which he became successful.Consistency is an important factor for both fast and slow bowlers in both line and length.Rhythmic and balanced action will make the bowler to deliver the ball in the correct line and length.

The basic grip to hold for a fast bowler is to keep the seam upright with the index and middle fingers on the two sides of the seam and to keep your thump just resting beneath the ball and be focused while you are running to deliver the ball and always run in increasing strides. While running to bowl keep your hips and shoulders always parallel in line.Pull your front arm down and through the target area while delivering.Stamina is also an important element for a bowler which increases the bowling potential.South African fast bowler Makhaya Ntini runs 10km/day even on match days which he said that it is the best way to your cardiovascular system in better condition which obviously increases the stamina

Mental toughness is another crucial factor for a bowler.Great bowlers of international cricket always suggested that mind management and practise makes a person a good bowler.Muttiah Muralitharan had said that Mental Toughness is one of the keys for his success.
