Cricket Match is to be played on Mount Everest on April 21st by amateur cricket players

Thirty amateur cricket players accompanied by 20 support staffs started their adventurous journey from Kathmandu to the Himalayan regions to play cricket.The match is scheduled to play on April 21st.

The two cricket teams to be palyed on the Mt Everest were named after Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa who were the mountaineers to be first reached on the top of the Mt Everest.

The match will be held at Gorak Shep, a plateau 5,165m above sea level.The match is intended to raise money for the three projects including one started by Hilliary himself in North Nepal.
