The style batsman V V S Laxman also was very pleased with the captaincy of M S Dhoni.According to Laxman,Dhoni is a very calm person and he has the ability to build confidence on the team members.
The Indian team won the series against Australia and England under the captaincy of M S Dhoni.India also had a historic series win over New Zealand after a long 41 years with Dhoni as Captain.India won 31 ODIs out of 51 ODIs under the captaincy of M S Dhoni and also won 5 tests out of 7 tests without any loses.
