West Indian player Dwayne Smith’s first match in the IPL 2009 was an extraordinary one since he had made a very good contribution for his team by taking 47 runs in just 32 balls which consists of only 4 sixes.
IPL Hyderabad was in trouble when Andrew Symonds got out.Then Dwayne Smith played a sensible cricket and was there till the last over.It is because of Smith that they reached a very competetive total of 166 runs in 20 overs.
Chaminda Vaas also came to the side of IPL Hyderabad and he also made contribution with the bat as well as ball.He took the huge wicket of the IPL Rajasthan’s opener Graeme Smith.IPL Rajasthan was struggling to make huge shots from the beginning of their innings itself.They were 113 all out in 19.3 overs.
