Brian Lara who was the best batsman in the West Indies cricket team was honored on March 6th when the Queen’s Park Oval Pavilion was renamed as Brian Lara Pavilion in PORT OF SPAIN,Trinidad.He was honored before the start of play of the 5th Digicel test at the historic venue by the president of Queen’s park cricket club Bruce Aanenson.He addressed Brian Lara as a “Champion” who hold the world record for the highest scores in first-class as well as in Test Cricket.Bruce Aanenson also didn’t forget to say that he is proud of this greatest batsman.Brian Lara gave a short address after the unveiling.This Outstanding left handed batsman scored 11953 runs which consists of 34 centuries between 1990-2006.Lara holds the record of highest run-maker in the history of West-Indies Cricket.
