What is an Outswinger delivery?
Outswinger delivery is the bowling skill in cricket which swings from off stump to the slip fielders that is away from the right handed batsman.
How to bowl an Outswinger?
Step 1
Outswinger Bowling Grip
Grip the ball with the first two fingers close together on the seam, with the seam in a vertical position. The thumb should be on the seam underneath as shown in the figure.
Step 2
At the point of releasing the ball, the seam of the ball should be oriented towards the slips.The shining side of the ball should be placed on the right side (As far as Right-arm bowler is concerned) so that the ball drifts away from the right handed batsman.
Outswinger delivery will be more effective if you try and get the ball to pitch on middle and off and on the same length as a normal delivery.
