ICC (International Cricket Council) World Cup qualifier starts next month in South Africa.12 squads have given their names to the ICC.According to the ICC, Scotland is the strong panel with some proven players like Craig Wright and Gavin Hamilton.The tournament will be a closely fought event since only four teams will be qualified for the World Cup 2011.
The Cricket teams that took part in the last World Cup are Scotland,Bermuda,Canada,Ireland,Kenya and Netherlands while Denmark,Namibia,Oman,United Arab Emirates (UAE) came from Pepsi ICC World Cricket League which is the division-2.Afghanistan And Uganda are the qualifiers which make up the division-3.
The 12 teams that are taking part in the ICC Cricket World Cup qualifier are split into two groups namely Group A and Group B which consists of six teams each.
