Yuvraj Singh's heroics with bat and ball failed to prevent Kings XI Punjab from losing to Royal Challengers Bangalore by eight runs in Durban
IPL Bangalore won a sensational game against IPL Punjab despite a Hat-Trick and a half century by IPL Punjab skipper Yuvraj Singh.The first batted IPL Bangalore somehow managed to take a reasonable total of 145 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.Eventhough IPL Bangalore lost quick wickets in their innings,the team members managed to take a better individual score which led to the total of 145 runs.
In reponse to this IPL Punjab had a very good start with the help of Yuvraj Singh and Karan Goel and they built up a first wicket wicket partnership of 70 runs but the Strategic time out had completely changed the game in favour of Anil Kumble led Royal Challengers Bangalore.Anil Kumble took the wicket of Yuvraj Singh which took the game in favour of IPL Bangalore.From there onwards IPL Punjab was struggling to build up a good partnership and they ultimately lost the game by 8 runs.
