AB de Villiers played the perfect Twenty20 innings to set up Delhi Daredevils
It was a very close match between IPL Delhi and IPL Chennai.South African cricketer A B De Villiers of the IPL Delhi Daredevils scored the 1st century of the IPL second edition at Kingsmead,Durban at April 23,2009.Delhi Daredevils lost two quick wickets of Virender Sehwag (Viru) and the new wall of Indian cricket team Gautham Ghambir.A B De Villiers came to the middle as the third batsman of the team twisted the game completely to the favour of IPL Delhi.He scored 105 runs in just 54 balls which consists of 5 fours and 6 sixes leading the team to the highest ever total in the IPL 2009 of 189 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
In response to this IPL Chennai Super Kings scored 180 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.Hayden and Raina scored 57 runs and 41 runs respectively.Hayden’s innings include 5 fours and 3 sixes while Suresh Raina’s innings consists of 5 fours and 1 six.Pradeep Sangwan of the IPL Delhi took 3 wickets which include the wickets of big fishes Matthew Hayden,Suresh Raina and Parthiv Patel.
