The openers Graeme Smith and Naman Ojha set up a huge score ever in this IPL 2009.They also took the highest ever partnership in the IPL of 135 runs.ojha took 68 runs from 50 balls which includes 5 fours and 5 sixes.Graeme Smith took 77 runs from 44 balls which includes 12 fours and 1 sixes.They completed their innings with 211 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs.
In response to this IPL Punjab was struggling from the very first ball itself.Sunny Sohal was got out in the very first ball of their innings.The captain Yuvraj Singh of IPL Punjab took 48 runs but there was no good partnership to lead them to victory.IPL Punjab took only 133 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
