The renowned and the only World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev and also the chairman of the Indian cricket League(ICL) reacted brashly against the opinion of the BCCI for not encouraging the Twenty-20 cricket championship conducted by Indian Cricket League.BCCI even refused to let out an arena for the Twenty-20 cricket match.Kapil Dev proudly said that the ICL will be played as scheduled and no one could stop them from that.BCCI banned players from official tournaments who represented India and Kapil Dev strongly criticized against this saying that BCCI should encourage cricket and not to dissuade.He also quoted that BCCI is scared of ICL.
