Sri Lankan Off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is on the peak of the bowlers’ list both in the test cricket and one-day international.This 36 year old star holds this double record with 769 and 503 wickets in the test and ODI cricket respectively in which this kind of double record is only achieved by the little master Sachin Tendulkar of India with the highest scores in tests (12,429) and one-dayers (16,440).He celebrated his 503rd wicket by getting out the Indian opener Gautham Gambhir in the match against India on February 5th in Sri Lanka by surpassing the 502 wicket mark by the Pakistani fast bowler Wasim Akram.He told that the Mental Toughness and Hard Work are the keys to his success.He is blessed with the unique style of wrist bowling and the intermittent Doosras makes him a tough bowler for the batsmen.
