Purple Cap is just for recognition of bowlers who took most number of wickets in the IPL

R P Singh,the most destructive bowler in the IPL Hyderabad got his purple straight after their match between Mumbai Indians from the former South African cricketer Keppler wessels.He took the crucial wickets of Sanath Jayasuriya and Sachin Tendulkar in just two deliveries.He is now on the top of the wicket takers with 15 wickets in just 8 matches with a economy of 6.43.
