Yuvraj Singh led Kings XI punjab’s two matches was lost due to rain.The first match was against Virender Sehwag led Delhi Daredevils in which the match was continually interrupted due to rain and at last Delhi Daredevils won the match by the D/L method.Although Kings XI Punjab had a good total against the Daredevils they lost the match due to rain.

The second match was against the IPL team,Kolkata Knight Riders on April 21st in which the Kings XI Punjab was the first to bat and they scored a very good total of 158 runs in 20 overs.The kolkata Knight Riders who batted second came with a bang with the help of Chris Gayle who scored 44* runs in just 26 balls.But the match came to an end in 9.2 overs and the Knight Riders won the match by 11 runs under D/L method.
