The IPL 2009 will miss the stylish batsman Ricky Ponting because he had more engagements in his team Australia itself.He spoke to the fox sports channel that there is only two weeks time that he could contribute to his IPL team Kolkata Knight riders.He also added that there would be more Ricky Ponting cricket (In IPL) in the coming year (2010).
Australia’s captain Ricky Ponting also said that he wants to play more for his country rather than to play in county crickets and he also said that he had conveyed his decision to the management of Kolkata Knight Riders much earlier.
