Sri Lankan cricket honoured the bus driver Mohammed Khalil who saved their lives from the hands of the brutal terrorists last month at Lahore.Mr khalil sped away from the attack site when the bullets rained down on the bus safely into the stadium from where the Sri lankan cricketers were safely airlifted.The brave attempt of this Bus Driver saved the life of the Sri Lankan cricketers.Muttiah Muralitharan told that it was because of only that driver that we are alive today.

New Srilankan captain Kumar Sangakkara told to the media that khalil will be in our hearts forever.The terrorist attack took the lives of six police men and a driver and injured the seven sri Lankan players and the Sri Lankan coach.Mahela Jayawardene told that Khalil is our hero.Mohammed Khalil and his family have been given a sponsored holiday and a $21,800 reward was handed to him at the ceremony in Sri Lanka’s capital on April 6th.
