Australian cricket team holds the record of most consecutive test match wins ever by a team.Cricket Australia has reached this honour 2 times.Both of these times they won 16 matches in a row which was not attained by any International cricket team ever.They reached this status during the time periods 1999-2001 and 2005-2008.

West Indies holds the 2nd position in this category with 11 wins during the time period 1983-85.

South Africa and Sri Lanka shares the 3rd position with 9 consecutive wins during the time period of 2001-03 and 2001-02 for South Africa and Sri Lanka respectively.
