A kiwi kid who is just seven have became renowned just in one day.The name of the kid is Sachin Austin which is named after the cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar.Nick Anholt and Kevin Austin,the parents of this kid doesn’t have any Indian ancestry or connections with India,but they are the die hard fans of Sachin Tendulkar.So they given the name of Sachin tendulkar to their son.
Sachin Austin got a chance to take an autograph of Sachin Tendulkar during the Innings break on March 8th said to the crowded media that he wanted to become a great cricketer like Sachin Tendulkar.The kiwi boy said that he is very happy to get an autograph from Tendulkar and he also added that he is very proud to have Sachin Tendulkar’s name.The couple also named their second child (Sachin Austin’s younger brother) Rama Mohandas which is named after Mahatma Gandhi.This reveals the influence of Indians in New Zealand.
